Kansas Truth Caucus: It’s Time to Meet Our Obligations to Retirees
The Kansas Truth Caucus, an organization of legislators in both the Kansas House and Senate, today announced its support for SB 9. This legislation would transfer $115.0 million from the State General Fund to the Kansas Public Employees Retirement Fund, thereby restoring a payment the legislature missed in FY 2016.
